Fresh Polling Shows the American Public Is Ready for Nuclear Energy
A new 23-state survey reveals strong support for building new nuclear plants.
Radiant Energy Group just published the most comprehensive report on U.S. public opinion on nuclear energy. Over 23,000 Americans across 23 states were surveyed.
It’s called PACE Nuclear Energy 2024. I just read it. You can too.
My takeaways: Support for nuclear is strong and growing. Nuclear has bipartisan potential. It’s the most supported energy source among climate skeptics. People trust it for reliability, yet still misunderstand its lack of emissions. The gender and age divides are real. So are the political nuances.
I found the polling methodology to be robest and had fun scrolling around the final interactive map of comments. Congratulations to Rich Ollington and the Radiant team for getting this out into the world. This is exactly the kind of research we need to justify making nuclear boring, normal, and ubiquitous.
